Good morning. High winds and rain yesterday for the most part. However, 2 inches down the soil is still bone dry. Was in the churchyard yesterday ( dry bit) talking with the vicars’ husband. So many stones falling due to subsidence. It’s so sad but what do you do

Good morning. Dull and windy but dry here. I have looked out my bulbs for planting. Seem to have fallen prey to advertising “ offers”, as I have quite a few tulips to plant. Rob going to be busy methinks. Still a good patch of flowering tulips is a brilliant sight ( my excuse)

Is it just me but doesn’t it look like his collar and tie are separated from his shirt? It would make sense that. They could dress him quickly that way. Shirts of yesteryears had the detachable collars still made I believe and used.

Gets better. Had a visit from “ like us” lot about a dog for rehoming. me living in a council house she gasped. she gingerly entered, said it wasn’t for her and left “ somebody might steal my vehicle “. Yep how the other half lives. ( dog off the rehoming site)

Registered. Doubt though it will make much of a difference. Best if Starmer just wrote a “ sorry” to EU and we just quietly rejoined. After all most who voted for Brexit have died now. Be better that way

Morning. Shouldn’t have spoken about no rain stray. Soon after we had mizzle for the entire day. I am getting into dog things here. Ordered a toy for him but got my inches muddled with centimetres so it’s bigger than him! Yes go on laugh everyone is though he enjoys dragging it around!

So many cases of sudden onset of cancers, heart conditions, kidney suff etc. you would think somebody would join the dots. Mask up. In UK the health lot is shouting about too many cases of flu! No masks though even when giving flu jabs!

Oh geraniums not taken in yet have huge leaves this mild autumn has done some strange things. Daffodils are far far way forward. We shall beat the Isle of Scilly at this rate!

Morning. That’s a bit like our line this summer /autumn due to the dry conditions, rail bed shifted. So few trains and very slow with very few carriages. Packed like sardines we were Well the day looks still and the sun shines. Hope yours is the same

I know. Had one once for £4,000 for a quarter from the water company! So now will not do standing orders with them either.

Oh dear. Mixed reviews on that. My knowledge from those that found either they didn’t work or worked wrongly resulting in long desputes with Companies is to leave well alone
