Should know better, does it anyway.

Also, Sade’s husband.
Wishing a happy wrestling retirement to the voice of “Happy Honda Days” and former spokesman of Hefty trash bags.

My sincerest hope for us all is that we find a love as great as 50 Cent’s for trolling Diddy.

I will DIE HARD on this hill.

I love a good dilly-dally.

No.

If I did have my own Legion of Doom, it’d be 3 or 4 people upset that I cancelled when I found out who else was gonna be there.

When I was a child, I spake as a child:

“Booty butt.”

A Kickstarter but one where I tell people I’m sad and want to heal my inner child with a mint condition GI Joe USS Flagg and you send me money for it and I’m happy for at least a day.

My dream interview would be a one-on-one with Alan Moore and Bret Hart just shooting on comics and wrestling, respectively with neither one knowing what the other is talking about.

As a wrestling fan, imagine going back in time and explaining to yourself that The Doctor of Thuganomics will become the voice of “Happy Honda Days.”

Know what my favorite scene in Superman ‘25 is?

It’s where Clark Kent is horsing around and kicking at Jimmy Olsen in the office. As Superman, we know those kicks could rend titanium but to me, it exhibits how much care he uses throughout a day.

It’s a movie but it’s the little things, y’know?

A shocking amount of my childhood memories are cigarette-based.

Going to the cornerstore, as a kid, to buy Kool Milds for my granny.

Being bored in places and pulling the knobs on cigarette machines.

Candy cigarettes.

Grownups burst out in joy at receiving a carton of cigarettes.

Take me back!

The problem with Spider-Man:

He’s almost designed to be outgrown. He’s always in the same place where you left him. Always underemployed. Always worried about losing the same 2-3 loved ones. Won’t ever commit to anything for too long. As an adult, it’s hard to read that on loop.

Jack White from The White Stripes referencing Siegel and Shuster and their creations, Doctor Occult and Slam Bradley wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card.

Watched Fantastic Four: First Steps last night and loved it!

Imagine if this were the first movie we’d gotten post-Endgame.

We’d still be on the gravy train with biscuit wheels.

Watching Frankenstein and when Henry feels faint, the first thing they think to do is revive him with brandy.

Let’s do stuff like that again.

How NOT to send a comic through the mail:

1. Do NOT pack and send it in a reused bubble mailing with someone else’s address label still attached to it.

2. Do NOT “reinforce” it with ONE flimsy piece of cardboard that doesn’t even cover the whole comic.

Never seen an Avatar film. Haven’t seen any Back To The Future. Zero desire.

Only in the past 9 years have I watched any Alien, Ghostbusters or Indiana Jones films.
Inspired by a post I just saw in which someone admitted they hadn’t seen a single episode of Friends nor the film Love Actually… what cultural hole do you have that’s a bit weird for your generation?

I’ll go first: I haven’t seen Dirty Dancing.

Name a character you love the IDEA of but don’t necessarily need to read a series for them?

Me? I love The Silver Surfer but mainly as a guest star/plot device.

Me, going online after realizing that @chrissamnee.bsky.social stuck to his word from last October about it being his last Bat-ober. 🦇

Been reading a lot of Wonder Woman lately and just amazed at the art talent present throughout. Who’s on your Mt. Rushmore of WW artists?

Mine are: George Pérez, Cliff Chiang, Phil Jimenez and Adam Hughes.

Comics opinion:

Dan Mora reminds me of George Pérez. Lines are gorgeous, draws 2 books a month, excels at team books.

Daniel Warren Johnson recalls Jack Kirby. Draws worlds on his pages. Seemingly has ideas for ages.

Chris Samnee is our Alex Toth. Master of mood and shadow.

We’re in great hands.

What comics artist do you think has made the biggest impact on the industry with only a limited amount of published work?
