Shame it’s not cold as our house is red hot at the moment 🥵 with all the heaters we have on

Perfect! Gives me an opportunity to get the bedding washed and dried..

Are we potentially looking at plunge pricing for those of us on agile?
June 21, 2025 at 12:13 PM
Not the best but I have to keep reminding myself that the price cap is around 27p

Going to be windy tomorrow then 🤔

I don’t get why this is a thing?!
May 22, 2025 at 10:03 AM
If pricing continues around this level then it might be time to return to agile

@andrewhirst1.bsky.social nuclear only generates about a 10th of our needs at best and we’llwill need a lot more to cover the countries base load and that’ll cost many pennies, which investors will want back at the end of the day..

Gas prices are high at the moment, so not cheap to generate electricity from gas plus most of the days recently have been dull/cloudy with very little wind
February 17, 2025 at 11:30 AM
What do the numbers mean?
February 16, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I’ve bailed and gone onto the 16 month fix. Will look at agile again around April time
February 15, 2025 at 12:02 PM
But surely once the longer sunny days arrive, you’ll be laughing
February 10, 2025 at 4:42 PM
Same if you have a heat pump..

It does feel like we’re somewhat being punished for not having‘renewable tech’ in our homes, either people cannot afford the out lay or they’re in rental accommodation.

The cosy tariff would suit our lifestyle tbh

Although the last 2 months have been painful, with no solar/batteries we have saved £200 over 12 months vs SVT.

Who knows what the future holds for the rates because gas still holds all the cards when the rates are decided unfortunately.

It is better when the sun shines and the wind blows

Although it’s not gospel, the greener nights/days forecast isn’t looking brilliant for the rest of the week
February 10, 2025 at 11:37 AM
What is the correlation between the numbers and forecasted agile unit prices?
February 6, 2025 at 3:10 PM
How does it compare to running an ev without home charging and solely having to rely the charging network..

I have a £35 a year VED diesel car, doing around 54mpg..
January 27, 2025 at 4:38 PM
What happened to tomorrow's greener forecast?
January 26, 2025 at 10:37 AM
I am a home assistant user too 🤩

A part from hitting the cap several times recently 🙈, agile has worked out well for us considering we don’t have any solar/battery.
January 23, 2025 at 4:49 PM
Tracker has never come across as an attractive tariff tbh
