It's my book's bday! The last piece of #WildforAusten goes into place tonight at its launch at Changing Hands Phx. There are so many to thank. I'll be expressing gratitude over the coming days. Today it feels right to thank #JaneAusten for inspiring so many of us to read, watch, argue, laugh & love.

Thrilled that the audiobook of #WildforAusten (out Sept. 2nd) will be narrated by award-winning Marisa Calin! Calin's voice is enchanting & mellifluous, with just the right amount of humor & sass. Grateful this #JaneAusten book has such a perfect-fit narrator.

On Sunday I gave a talk at the The Huntington to JASNASW, flanked by these two cardboard icons. It's such a gift to get to talk #JaneAusten with an audience ready to laugh and learn history & that shows up with a spirit of fun. I'm not taking that for granted in these times.

I had the lucky chance last weekend to see an early screening of episode 1 of the new Miss Austen, based on Gill Hornby’s beautiful novel. Highly recommend your watching this moving Cassandra & #janeausten story on Sunday 5/4 on PBS Masterpiece, which deserves viewer support now more than ever.
