My 22 months of unemployment comes to an end. I wish it could have been longer, but I have bills o pay unfortunately.

The core of that system was building an operating system specifically for testing. Not an easy task, but a very powerful tool. It was designed for virtualization, but you could do something similar for emulation.

That system had a dedicated team for development, and that didn’t include other people writing actual tests as well. It took a lot of investment, but made for an amazing test suite.

I think the tech industry has a real problem with cutting corners on QA right now. I have spend over my half my career working on a system that tested x86 binary translation.
