A better world is possible.
The true middle ground of suicidal ideation. Instead of active, or accidental.

You’ve through’d the line to both.

Profoundly easy way to die lol.

Delightful compositionally, lots of interesting moving pieces- feels alive.

Also, my goodness that’s a high dosage of Bara- haven’t been that exposed to imagery of its ilk in a while lol.

Not surprised, it foes provide China a valuable asset in manipulating Americans, but it makes it so obvious that this is only because it’s a foreign power.

Whereas US companies have admitted to doing it, but face no consequence- because the gov likes it when they manipulate the public.

Hooray!

Inherently that means it’s making a separative distinction.

That there are white people and *people of color*. It’s creating a category for whites and everybody else.

So an exclusionary term masquerading behind inclusive language I guess.

Never really analyzed it deeply, mostly heard and use it as a broad term for various racialized peoples.

I use white people, black people, latino, Indian. Parlance I was raised on and what I’ve been told others preferences.

It does kinda feel like a category to just say people who aren’t white tho

I’ve gotten people who would otherwise hate me and spit on my name come to see me as a person worthy of respect, just by providing the same to them.

It’s a thin line to navigate- but idk.

I’m Trans, and 2/3rds of my personal outreach is just treating people who hate me with courtesy and curiosity.

But, it also provides the opportunity for scrutiny. I’ve found it to be more effective than just dismissing somebody- to actually hear them out without ceding ground.

But- my background is in psych and education, meeting people where they’re at without judgement is a part of what I do for a living.

That’s all fair enough, but I’m not much for compromise so much as understanding when I speak to those I disagree with.

I’m a complicated jumble of philosophies, but I’m rather unshakeable in terms of principles. I understand that entertaining someone else’s hyperbole inherently gives it credence.

I suppose, but I’m always of the opinion that even a dishonest conversation is insightful for both parties.

How am I to know if this person is being disingenuous- they’re taking the time to write out what they feel is truth. It’s worth at least some consideration. :)

Afaik cloth masks were only effective if made out of cotton. My wife sewed quite a few for hospitals during covid.

Has something to do with how vapor disperses works.

A lot of the masks sold on the market were plastic fabric- and were worse than nothing.

What pseudoscience are we talking about?

Legit question, just curious.

Why is it that Science is ‘far left’ to you? Expertise? Facts?

Personally I take everything with a grain of salt, but labeling things so readily with political allegiance just seems very short-sighted to me.

What are you seeing that I’m not?
