I think it might have been a stream, but the premise alone sounds fucking stupid.

I think another factor is that media was a lot slower back then, and a lot more limited, and what feels like in retrospect, a lower cost of living, it didn't seem like they needed much to get by, always love how they borrowed their computers from work lol.

Have you read Masters of Doom? (is a good book, with some corrections though), Romero has put a lot of pictures of those days up online, so you can live vicariously...
