Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, actually. They'd find me probed and in shock, but alive.

helps that it's also very phallic-shaped, but yes

flat earth girls are only for the rich. Bezos would have no trouble convincing a flat earth girl that the world isn't flat.

Honest question, have you ever directly interacted with a scientologist? Did one ever bother you or force their beliefs upon you? Or is your dislike of them entirely based upon hearsay and media coverage?

Again, genuine question, I have no horse in the game, I'm not a scientologist or anything.

Obviously the sentiment internally is "positive". How else would it be portrayed to the outside world?

Remember "Bioware Magic"? I'm starting to think the condition is endemic and widespread in the gaming industry.

Goddamnit I came here to escape the ghoul creature that is Tate. He's a walking engagement farmer. It saddens me to see people give him the single thing he needs: attention and exposure. If the world were to collectively ignore him for two months he'd shrivel up and die.

sadly that's most late-stage mmo's. You either jump on board at release, form some sort of muscle memory so can at least hope to return later, or just... watch from afar. Many such cases.

That's why I love gacha games, they literally work to prevent me from giving them a dime.

A very good point. There's also a case to be made for those that come from more recent times where you could... buy the thing... with the money... and get the thing. Paying for slot machine lever pulls was, is, and will never be enticing to a subset of us.

Batman Arkham Knight was also pulled from sale on pc. Cyberpunk was pulled temporarily from playstation as well. But these were both temporary pulls.
