Hi, We think we're absolutely the best museum which definitely isn't about porridge but is named after porridge in possibly the whole of Scotland. Although, we do work here.

Visit Scotland does say we're five stars though. 💅

We reckon a mix of nitro-glycerine and gun-cotton could be a particularly unpleasant bath to be fair. 💥🛁

Yes! This was called the State Management Scheme. It continued until 1939 when many people fought to keep it. We have some info about this on display.
