Afternoon Womble. Just started reading Pagans by James Alistair Henry, which is a murder thriller thing set in an alternate 2023 where England avoided the Norman invasion of 1066 and is made of up an uneasy alliance of Saxon, Celt etc tribes. Setting not quite gelling yet but the writing is good.

Just started Rob Schrab's "Scud the Disposable Assassin: The Whole Shebang" collection - assassin robot discovers he'll explode if he kills his target so decides to do something else with his life...

It's not actually out until the end of the month but arrived very early and I couldn't resist starting it. So far: great setting, interesting characters, fantastic action scenes. Highly recommended to everyone :D
