Just some extra concept bits, I think the slime bubble did get used for something in the end! The tile map was me measuring what you could fit into the spaces we had. I think this is 21x21 px? I really enjoyed developing ideas on the fly, though that tile map was done by hand in ms paint 😣

Maybe the first gif I made by hand? This later got recoloured to Jam :) Props to Aseperite for being a fantastic program to make things with! #redspreadredemption

I heard we can do gifs now? I'll find some files another night but here's a gif of a video I took of a jumping jam jar enemy in the game we made. Yes it was called 'Red Spread Redemption' no I will not elaborate. Huge props to @joeymcjoey.bsky.social for getting our asses in gear.

So that's enough scrolling for one day. Time to get back to my passions. Although I rarely have the time or energy for it I really do like creating things. These are some images from a game jam I worked on about a year ago! I enjoyed making sprites. I should do more sometime.

Apologies to the meat-averse of you, but I'm real proud of my Christmas eve ham I cooked! It had an overnight soak, and then a low boil for 1.5 hrs in full fat coke and mulled wine with a few extra aromatics. Finally baked it for maybe 40 mins with a honey and dijon glaze. Super delicious!

I didn't finish! Here's some #D&D #minipainting I did! I'm quite proud of how these came out. The green fella particularly so. My cultist is chipping though so needs touching up with a top coat too. I believe these two were part of a @reaperminiatures.bsky.social bones set! Big fan of their sculpts.

So #necron were my first #warhammer army back in 3rd ed! In the new year I'll get some snaps of what my first minis looked like. This is from that starter kit from all those years ago. I painted him for Christmas last year.

Next my Tyrannid Hormagaunt. Nearly a hive fleet Kracken scheme, but in reality I just wanted to try my contrast paints. I had a red and a yellow and they worked fantastically. His pose makes it hard to get the whole thing in focus. I think over these two you get the picture though! #minipainting

27. Shadow / Spark. The metal shop scene from bobs burgers came straight to mind. Great show! 28. Mask / Crispy. I think I wanted to draw a burning face but I gave up on the details. The vibe is right though!

23. Tree/ Leak. I'm a huge Tim Burton fan since I was young. The sleepy hollow Tree is so iconic I used it in an art project back in high school. 24. Mythical / Extinct. I told you I like drawing creatures! Love these two.

Time for the weird stuff. 21. Grim / Fuzzy. A furby from the nightmare realm. I love him. 22. Crown / Open. Uuh a giant gaping mutant head face? It's hooked up to a technology crown (ala adventure time) it's gross and spooky!

19. Rotten / Loop. Yeah I also love drawing skelly-bobs and zomboys too! They're having a blast on the roller coaster 😄 20. Pumpkin / Sprout. I don't think I checked what pumpkin leaves actually look like. But who cares? I also love drawing vines! Plants let you be really free in shape and form.
