I really wish I could be into Persona 5 The Phantom X, I really do, especially because they made two characters that just feel tailormade for me. But with all the changes between the CN and Global versions, it just feels wrong to keep engaging.

Overall, I really liked this show and its tone. The cameos from past Sentai were well executed also. I wish we could have handled some of the time and episodes better to let some characters shine even brighter. I am love this show, especially after talking with friends every week about it.

I mentioned it on another post about Wyald Spinder before, but I was surprised at how topical the final arc of the show was, especially considering things that are happening in real life regarding oppression of minorities from people in power. As a journalism student, some segments struck me harder.

I am pretty sure I made it very clear that my favorite character from the show was Shirabe Saibu. I don't know what about her caught me but just... I just loved her, maybe it was her brand of character that I really like. She didn't turn into a Ranger, but I am glad to meet her regardless.

Speaking of the team, I loved these characters. They all had moments and little charms to them that made them special, the dynamic between one another is great. Makes for fun scenes just to see them hang out and deal with the MOTW. I do wish we could have gotten more of Sakito.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from the plot at first, since I went pass my usual method of "start watching once episode 15 comes out" with this one. I am honestly glad I did, coming every week to be greeted by this team was a joy.

Today, I finished watching Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger! I really liked this show, from its simple format, lighthearted and silly tone, and serious and surprisingly topical tone of the last arc. It was such a treat to follow this show every week and be greeted with a fun and easy to digest Sentai.
