I'm very much at a loss. If people would be willing, I can see about restarting my Patreon in a couple of months and just hoping for the best, but I'm open to suggestions as to my next steps.

This is entirely out of my hands but well below the standards I'd like to hold myself to as a writer. You deserve better, and I want to try and make it up to you.

I've been on Patreon for years, painstakingly building up a following and it feels like an absolute hammer blow to now have to start all over again. I'm really sorry if anyone is waiting on their subscriber benefits or has lost access to stories they've paid for.

I'll still be releasing stories as much as I can, and anything scheduled for release on Patreon (I had stories on there leading up to April) will be posted on here at the times I originally planned.

I don't really want to run the risk of this happening again so if there are any alternative platforms, I'd love to know them.

I'm really not sure what to do now and would love it if anything could make some suggestions.

I don't know if this will be returned to me or kept by Patreon.

Patreon have said that I can start a new account after two months, as long as I prove I'm not going to break the guidelines (again, which they've not told me how I've broken).

Without getting into anything too personal, Patreon was a major income stream for me that I relied upon heavily. I also had a considerable quantity of money sat in my account on there (I usually wait to withdraw until the tax year closes) which I now have no access to.

Previously, if this has happened, I've had a story removed and then after a few edits they allow it to be posted once more. This is a massively heavy handed approach that I really wasn't expecting.

I've appealed the ban, but Patreon have denied the appeal.
