I just got over that. I use windows because it just works and supports gaming and I never need to rebuild it on a random day.

Exactly not. Phantom power is a newer tech and is rarely used if at all, in fact you can make Ethernet cables without the wires for poe

Traditional poe does not send data, I’ve hand made Ethernet cables my whole life. You don’t have to use all wires unless you intend to use poe
