Nah you're spot on in the last one Seattle is a shithole. They're not able to admit it consciously, but subconsciously their minds wander as far away as possible. I think it's the Seattle culture itself, everything that comes out of there is painfully detached from reality.

I like it. I'm planning something with similar trauma themes but for the villain rather than the player. I had a hunch that you might have been working with similar concepts; I'm not disappointed by what I read, to say the least. I can see where you were inspired by the forest too.
