I do consulting work where I present a Statement of Work with a budgeted set of hours and defined deliverables. Unfortunately your proposal doesn't really fit this model. In this case, managing scope and expectations is critical. And frankly, for me, it's worked well.

This isn't the question. We already give up medicine and care. But it's determined by the capriciousness of insurance and provider systems . At the least with the government run healthcare, decisions are made with citizens welfare front and center. Not shareholders.

I don't disagree. But my point is that Men need to share responsibility for the reason we're having less babies. The headline implies that women are somehow solely to blame for this.

One issue is that the publishing industry has given up on men. There is no effort to either market to men or cultivate new male readers. So we're left with old guys like myself. I guess I'll just turn out the lights as I go...

This is a terrible take. There wasn't some multigenerational genocide aimed at scientists. What there was, was a long period of societal stagnation between Rome and the Renaissance. And it wasn't caused by the church.
