Animula Nook devs were supposed to have an AMA today that answered community questions and it's been delayed again. Still no answer on whether or not AI was used during development.

It's a simple yes or no so I'm just gonna assume the worst

That said, if the devs are using generative AI in some areas, it doesn’t automatically mean something negative. Tools like that can actually help speed up certain workflows or handle repetitive tasks, which lets the team focus more on the creative parts; story, art direction, world-building, and polish. I think it’s worth giving them a bit of time to explain it in their own words during the AMA or in an update (if they are using it). The team really does care about the community’s trust and feedback. So again just be a bit more patient User 3: I personally thing game developers taking time to answer questions with ama is a great sign. I also agree with pxlkai. We’re all see next week 🙂 Me: Can't say I agree at all. It's a hard no from me if they're using any generative AI and I will be vocal about it. It's a plagiarism machine and I won't get into the environmental effects.
