Can't say I have ever used the word meditative alongside beekeeping. Words that I recall include confusing, infuriating, frustrating, exasperating, scary, tiring, heavy hard work and occasionally rewarding.

Also there seems to be controversy within British Academia as to the benefit or otherwise of bee bricks.

Afaik one council in England requires such things in new builds taller than 5m. Not quite the same as the impression being created by the above message.
