What happened on Monday in Syd was shocking and outrageous, but I think it’s a bit hyperbolic to claim the cops have “immunity from legal consequences”. And as terrifyingly authoritarian those new anti-protest laws are, they were implemented by the NSW State Govt, not the Australian Federal Govt.

I was a big advocate for cancelling it at the end of the last season. I don’t think they’re going to be able to tell a better story than that, especially in terms of bringing ongoing plot lines together. But alas there’s still plenty of money to be made.

I think if they were smart they would do F next, then do G & H in the same season, then finish the show on Eloise, so that if they completely miss with her then at least it’s all over.

No idea. I haven’t read the books, but I know the general gist of each of them. Tbh E, G, and H all sound kind of boring, and the further they go they are going to have to make difficult choices about which characters remain on-screen in any meaningful way.

I like that we’re getting to know the working people in this society a little more and I’m keen to see Francesca’s sexual awakening play out. The closer we get to Eloise’s season the more anxious I get. I’m assuming they’re going to do F’s book next though.
