I don’t see a correlation between the playoffs and CFP as AAA football. In fact, it’s the opposite - why would NFL coaches want players playing more games than necessary? Unless you’re saying college sports should be low stakes with funding slashed and 100k person stadiums demolished.

Record doesn’t take into account defensive strength nor is the schedule something drake maye can control. Both have faced an equivalent number of top defenses.
