In random, one of my hobbies is spinning (as in treadle spinning wheels) and I'm apparently That Nerd who debugs WHICH part of the wheel is making The Annoying Noise by identifying the pitch of...different...parts...of the...wheel... /o\

(Perfect pitch = I should have become an auto mechanic?!)

I'm floored that my sister's Xmas gift was this taishogoto. I'm doubly impressed because a non-musician finding me an acoustic instrument whose FAMILY I never heard of is non-trivial. I guess she wanted to top the 3-octave chromatic kalimba from a few years back...! Looking forward to tuning!
