One thing that really bothers me about Nick Robertson is that he slows down or outright stops almost every time he carries the puck into the offensive zone. Move your feet and shoot the puck, my guy.

I know Alex Nylander has his shortcomings, but compared to the other bubble players, he presents like a legitimate NHLer. Very poised and mature. I don’t imagine he’s going anywhere when people start getting healthy. Not good news for the likes of Holmberg and Robertson.

Steeves has looked like a very serviceable 4th liner. Always moving his feet, always finishing his checks, and he’s not scared to be first in on the puck and take a hit to make a play.

I thought Pontus Holmberg had his best game of the season(low bar, I know) when we needed him to step up. Simon Benoit looked more like the Benny of last year too. Lotta unsung heroes in this game.
