When the inevitable mass closures of federally subsidized nursing homes (I have a family member in one) begins because of cuts--900+ billion Medicaid/$500 billion Medicare--we will see harm and deaths. Guaranteed. Don't say you did not know of this outcome.

I'm finishing up creating some photo galleries of my latest trip to my favorite country, #Suomi (Finland). My time there reminds me why I love it. They are comfortable with their bodies, and all their beautiful forms and imperfections. Saunas are ubiquitous and help create the awareness and comfort.

Funny I thought "Uncle Sam" was a government brand that promoted the country's fight AGAINST fascism. This probably is appearing in a LinkedIn feed near you. So yes, LinkedIn is making money from this expansion of forces focussing on detaining people in ways shocking many Americans and communities.

One of my 2 US Senators, Jeff Merkley, published this statement on his vote on the gov't reopening. In that vote, a faction of Senate Ds turned their back on Americans to restore tax credits for health insurance for millions. And no words re replacing Sen. Schumer as leader, as countless demand now.

A noisy Sellwood Bridge Friday Night protest. During the week, we saw a lot of activity with people being disappeared because they are immigrants and Latino, including coordinated arrests by masked agents of 24 people in the state capital, Salem, on November 11. Horn energy got louder near the end.

Have we already forgotten that more than 7 million people showed where power resides and what power means? We all know who the monster is and what this monster has done. I'm thinking now of nursing home closures that could kill a family member. YOU alone will save our country, NOT Epstein files.

One in four nursing homes will close because of the toxic bill signed on July 4, and about $900 billion+ will be stolen from Medicaid for the wealthiest Americans. We don't even know yet how many Americans will die from this, and they'll die when nursing homes shut. I think Americans already get it.

It's the third day since the disastrous Vichy capitulation by the minority caucus in the US Senate. My senior senator is still not making any public statement on calls from his constituents he publicly take a stand to remove Sen. Schumer as leader. Show some courage.

This is what my other Senator, Wyden, has had his staff post on his FB page tonight about the expected vote with a small group of D senators siding with an administration and GOP senators who voted to destroy Medicaid, defund Medicare, close nursing homes, and harm kids. Name those Senators please.

Here's what our Senators in OR stated. They're refusing to call out their colleagues by name. If they can't call them out, why should Oregon voters trust them when the biggest votes happen? These are weak comments by Sens. Oregonians elected. They need to hear from us now and need to explain this.
