Our partners monitored the new habitat at Peche Island. Studies show that aquatic veg cover has ⬆️ 10% to 49% in the calm backwater area. 👀: a Redhorse Sucker in the Elodea canadensis (waterweed) that grew as result of the project! #fishhabitat #detroitriver #HabitatRestoration #PecheIsland #YQG
