I hear ya. But Holmes has gotten good players late in the draft consistently. Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 4th round turned into a top receiver. Kerby Joseph in the 3rd led the league in interceptions last year. Those rookie contracts were cheap for their 1st 4 seasons. Tom Brady was also the last pick

I was talking about Holmes not giving up draft picks (like a lot of Lions fans wanted with Trey Hendrickson). He needs good productivity from players on their rookie deal because it offsets the costs of giving deserved big money deals to players like Hutchinson, St. Brown, or Brady after the ACL

Right. But looking ahead I'd rather have the draft picks. Feels like more good chances to try again a few times. Because we've all learned that key injuries can derail a season
December 15, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Sauce & Micah are prime examples why Brad Holmes doesn't pool so many resources into acquiring 1 player. Those draft picks are necessary to fill out the roster with good players who aren't making $40 million per season. So injuries can only ruin 1 season at a time instead of crippling the next few

Wolves came a long way since they finished 7th under Nuno. 2020 was peak Dendoncker too

Yeah sure that's a possibility. We'd all be bummed about a terrible season but at that point he'd have to be traded. Gives more time to get fully priced by Boras too... only good solution for Tigers fans is 2026 World Series
December 11, 2025 at 4:28 PM
It does suck. The likeliest scenarios were always gonna suck. But keeping him for 1 last season is better than trading him IMO. I don't care even if it's someone top 3 prospects

Ayo should dominate this one

I think a Packers win would give the Lions more control of their destiny
December 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM
Can't bring myself to watch this game. I guess Bears losing is better because we could control our destiny more. Could make Lions/Bears in week 18 a win and get in

Haha part of me wanted to watch it but I'll probably just check the final results

I think either 3 or 3.5 hours!

This season has been so unpredictable that I think Lions / Chiefs is one of the likeliest Superbowl matchups
December 3, 2025 at 3:37 PM
Yeah was thinking that's likelier. In which case Del Toro and Penn would be going head to head a lot. It's hard because he's such an evil character but I think Sean Penn deserves all the nods. I obviously like what Del Toro stands for in the movie a lot better. Penn's Oscar speech would be epic

I loved the movie and this role. Would Sean Penn be considered a main role or supporting role?
