Also, Avengers #118, which was the first time I remember seeing a crossover issue with so many heroes (all the old and new Avengers and all the Defenders).

Any designers looking for an idea for a new game -- we built MtG Shandalar back in 1997 as a combo CCG / Roguelike RPG. Apparently there are players still playing it today because there's nothing else like it.
