Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt sends these little emails out regularly. I am on his email list since I have repeatedly expressed my concerns about his craven adherence to Trump’s wishes. He always has a ridiculous mini-survey at the end of his spiels. I answered, “No.”

My husband and I just visited a historic cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas, and this memorial stopped us in our tracks. My eyes filled with tears and I cannot begin to fathom the depths of the parents’ grief.

These “people” are responsible for atrocities against an innocent human being. One simple action could bring Abrego Garcia home to his family but they claim their lack of power to do so. Trump is supposed to be leader of the free world but he sits on his fat ass and smirks while others suffer.

My grandmother with 4 of her 5 children (my mom wasn’t born yet). All four served in World War II. All came back, but not without physical and mental scars. Uncle Ambrose, the oldest son and a former schoolteacher, suffered severe PTSD and died not long afterwards. Veterans. Never losers & suckers.

My cat Marigold enjoyed David Attenborough in the Natural History Museum on “Nature” on PBS the other night, and now is watching “The Americas” narrated by Tom Hanks on NBC tonight. My cat is more intellectually curious than Trump.
