its harder than moon to be honest, in the sense that you do get punished for getting something wrong (being a turn based rpg) whereas in moon you only lose “time”. much more like Chulip in that sense and also like chulip im not sure id be able to get anywhere without a guide. i love that it exists

stray children thoughts: im fascinated in how this adapts moon and chulip design to modern day but isn’t actually less obtuse than them. it has very very specific ways to “save” people just like those did except theyre traditional turn based rpg battles in this so there’s an extra layer beyond that

this complete aesthetic shift for the bit was crazy. makoto moriwaki is a notably good storyboarder i never heard of before this but is still active (chief director on the new gintama)
