[ once again you read... and another picture starts to appear in your mind. almost like a faded memory. ]
An endless expanse of lights and colors. A river of fire flows listlessly underneath a bridge, as they cross. A human and a monster. Somehow, they were always meant to be here, despite their confusion. There is a cloaked creature ahead. Tall, seemingly unshaken by the hell-like heat surrounding them. At the clatter of boots against stone bricks, he turns... and smiles, a plume of deep orange. Hellfire in his grin. And yet, despite the almost menacing look, it's like he's laying darkened eyes on lifelong friends for the first time in years. "Ah... at last. The day has come for us to meet." The human and the monster glance between each other, almost confused at the warmth in his voice. "I have awaited this day for many, many moons... haha. Is it fun? My home... the place I've waited in for so long. My friends, please allow me to welcome you to my city." It's empty. None live here. It's quiet, despite the warmth in the air... but the figure simply bows, smile widening. "It isn't much yet. Just a pretty little flame, flickering on the end of a dying candle. But... now, you're here. The tail of Hell takes crawl, the curtains open on this magnificent story... and I get to tell you the tale I've waited forever to tell. Please, allow me a few moments of your time." The monster seems to bristle at the thought of waiting, but... it's information. Both know this. So, the human steps forward and nods silently, eye shining in the red lights surrounding them. "Haha... wonderful. Thank you. We both have things to do, so I'll simply tell you the gist. This is a story written in the stars. Written in our very blood, you see... painted in the dark we walk. But I can see it. I can see it all. This is the story... of the DELTA RUNE... and of the Saviors of the Waking World."

[ it's almost hard to pick up. but you do, and as you read... ]
[ As you read the leftover words written here... your mind begins to put together a picture. ] --- It's dark. So, so very dark. So dark that she could barely see. But in that darkness, both her hands gripped tightly to... them. The two people that she'd sworn her life to. That she'd promised to protect, to save everything with. She hears the roar around her, the earth shivering around them as Titans walk the waking world. But she doesn't fear them. She doesn't fear the dark anymore. Slowly, a warm glow begins to envelop the trio... and they're brought to light at last. A human. A monster. And a prince from the dark. They look at each other quietly, almost as if drinking in the sight of each other for one last time. The monster grins cockily, while the prince simply nods, a smirk crossing his face as if presented with a fun new game. She can't help but return that smile. For once, it feels like everything might just be okay if they keep on like this. They're with her in the dark. The monster steps forward, taking her mace and swinging it in front of herself as it breaks through everything, the darkness itself splitting off from her body as she stands partway through the NEO Fountain itself. Shadows slide away from the cloak covering her shoulders as she smiles so confidently, despite the way her knees buckle at the force of it all. "CASS, ERAM...! GO!!" "Eram", the prince nods and dashes into the fountain, but... Cass seems to hesitate. She steps closer, one hand resting on the monster's arm, as if she has something else to say. "...I don't... I don't want to lose you again." "...heh. You really think this is enough to put me down? C-c'mon, I thought you had faith in me, hun!" "Hannah, I'm serious." The voice sounds strained, enough that "Hannah's" expression seems to fall just hearing this. "You... you know what'll happen." Silence. The two look inside the fountain, where Eram is waiting in front of... something. It can't quite be made out. He looks... apprehensive. "...I know. But you gotta get in there. I'll hold it off a-as long as I can. 'Kay?" With that, Hannah grabs onto Cass and shoves her back, into the small crack left in the Neo Fountain. And with that... she starts to reach up to her neck, undoing the small cloak around her. "Wait. No, no, Hannah- d-don't- NO!" The crack closes, and it's as if the darkness eats her alive. The cloak falls down slowly, left on the ground... alone. Eram picks it up, looking it over with a despondent look to where the monster once was. But Cass? She nearly runs back after her, only stopped by her own arm plunging into her own chest. A red glow is barely visible for a moment, as something exits her body. A red, glowing heart. She- ... ... ... ...The text ends here.
