That is inherently a privatization model. To say "it's less than the price of a pizza" is extremely tone deaf. The ability to afford internet required for streaming services is *not* a given in this country. Paywalling a *public service* is unethical. They are not allies against fascism.

Unless Netflix is making it free to access for everyone, it's not protection; it's extortion and privatisation.
