They're "one of the good ones" until they stop being useful.

I guess the thing that hurts the most is I want to help, but I don't have the resources to. I want to help things get better, but I'm too poor to make any amount of meaningful change. The best I can do is make a few peoples' days better, but I've already resigned to whatever comes in the future.

Seeing the American right barrel through every freedom people have, and the response is essentially "well maybe if we're nice to them they'll change." It is nice seeing some politicians stepping up, but it feels like it's not good enough, and things will become dire if more in charge are complacent.

I should be doing more to protest against everything. However, I am not the type of person people listen to, even people who agree with me. Some of the worst treatment I've had has been from people who supposedly were on my side.

I'm focusing on what I personally can do, which is make art.
