They're taking away SNAP and then telling #disabled people not accept cash or gift cards to buy food or they'll take away their healthcare coverage too.

You can't tell me this country cares about disabled people when these asinine rules exist.
Friends, neighbors, and family may be reaching out and wanting to help people with disabilities who receive food assistance through the SNAP program. That is wonderful. It is what being part of the community is all about. However, they may not be aware of the risk that accepting certain help might risk people with disabilities losing federal benefits that have income and asset limits such as Medicaid, SSI, housing, and other programs. NACDD is concerned that many people may not be aware that some kinds of gifts could risk your eligibility to receive federal benefits that have income and asset limits as part of the eligibility criteria.

Well, according to this article, and MDA’s own site, there are no longer any #MDA camps in Utah.
Except from article from 102.7 KSL News Radio that reads "Camp Happyland was built to fill a need Applegate says Project Strong and Camp Happyland got started when the Muscular Dystrophy Association stopped doing camps in Utah. “For many many years the Muscular Dystrophy Association did a camp here in in Utah. And they now have camps around the country, but they don’t have one here in Utah anymore. And so many of us who had been volunteering at camp for years and years and years decided that we still needed to give the kids that opportunity.”
