These are examples of cakes as sold in American grocery stores intended for use in celebrations, birthdays, and other events of note. My sister, who has lived in Auckland for 15 years at this point, cannot find anything like this in a simple grocer and has to seek out specialty bakers.

NPR is manufacturing consent for your rights to be stripped away, because NPR is headed by people who think your rights don't matter and theirs will never be impugned.

If this is your position regarding trans-rights then you would have opposed ending slavery, women's suffrage, the Voting Rights Act, the Civil Rights Act, interracial marriage, LGBTQ rights, LGBTQ marriage, every positive social change in American history, & you'll oppose them all when told to do so
A post by an asshole saying that it's in fact good that Pete Buttigieg and other Democrat politicians who completely concede on the rights of transgender people do do, because they see this as an unpopular issue that people are not in favor of and you cannot win by taking stances against a supposed majority opinion. The text of the specific post pictured is "Losing politicians don't get to do anything. I think it's possible for a Dem politician to say something like 'This is an issue for local sports leagues' or 'Republicans want to look at kids genitals.' Making this salient is bad for Dems. It's just not popular." This is, somehow, the least unreasonable post this person has made on the topic.

I started with one of these!

Moved from it into a Konica MT-11 and kept going.
A black plastic camera with an integrated pop-up flash on its left side. It is the Konica MT-11 and it is one of the finest cameras ever made, at least when you're 11 years old and being encouraged by your parents who still know well enough not to give you a body/lens setup that you will inevitably allow to get dirt inside or ruin in some other creative way.

The ending of a sentence where the final three characters are a question mark, a close-parens, and a period. That this has been published and praised makes me feel everyone involved in promoting this needs to send Stephanie Meyer five dollars and a personalized apology note.

Update - Dr. Tiffany Flowers did not like it when I said the same thing under her.
Apparently I am a bot, because posting screenshots of how this "Dr. Sarah Chen" - cited in approximately half the articles on the website she linked - is simultaneously a specialist in every field imaginable at multiple well-known institutions is bot-like behavior. To quote Dr. Tiffany A. Flowers: I am always amazed at these bots who find my posts. I am hitting mute on this account. Why? After I posted the link, someone in my network asked for the original research on side-effects. I posted the link to the list of side effects. This person didn't read the thread and is cursing for no reason." As a note, the link to side-effects she posted is simply the basic side-effect information commonly available for lisinopril: it is NOT the original research cited in the article she is passing around, nor does it address how Dr. Sarah Chen appears to have an impossible number of completely unrelated specializations.

Dr. Chen is either someone we should all know of or does not exist.
Dr. Sarah Chen, indoor air quality researcher at Stanford.... but also she's Dr. Sarah Chen, a neuroscientist at Stanford Medical Center while also being....... while she is also Dr. Sarah Chen, cardiovascular researcher at Stanford.... and she's amazing because with all that she is.... Dr. Sarah Chen, lead researcher at Johns-Hopkins in a 23-year stroke study. Truly an amazing woman that definitely exists!
