Illinois Fall foliage can be amazing sometimes. Not the blazing yellow and red of maples, but an intensely warm brown and burgundy of oaks and hickory. I&M Canal Path west of Joliet.

The map of the 3rd ward is also oddly shaped, so a chunk of the very dense, residential South Loop/Near South Side is attached to a large area of mostly less dense parts of Bronzeville.
