Went to see Cabaret today and it isn’t lost on me that I would win tickets to a musical about fascism right now… The reimagining of the August Wilson theater into The Kit Kat Club was unparalleled. Fantastic set design and lots of audience participation. I’d see it again. #Broadway

I have a doctor’s appointment that I’ve been waiting a awhile for and of course my #anxiety doesn’t want to go. She’s not my favorite doctor so there is that but my brain is on a smear campaign targeting leaving the house. #chronicillness

I’ve been listening to #audiobooks lately because my attention span is in the depths of hell. It is so much easier to listen to a book when #adhd is raging and you can’t see yourself “sitting down.” If I can wash the dishes and listen to a chapter so be it.

The kid has to choose a college and I can see her struggling simply because of her neurodivergence. She’s thinking about whether or not she can even wear shower slippers and if we can bring bug baits. The fear in her face over a happy decision makes me want to hug her. #collegedecisionday

Starting the year off strong with a hospital bill for something that has never not been covered in full that is all of a sudden not covered in full. With a chronic illness, this can’t happen often. $900 isn’t anything to sneeze at. #healthinsurance
