People in context always do know better than designers. Two examples of the Designer Fallacy. If only we taught design students to trust people, we would avoid the trope that users need to be "educated" by the experts

Best conference in a long long time. University of Cuenca in Ecuador and many groups in Guayaquil are doing some of the most interesting work in "social design" anywhere in the world. But you won't hear about it in the Global North academia
