There's a carnivorous plant garden in the city a few miles from us, and we're within the growing radius (70 miles, I think), so I'm crossing my fingers they'll survive. They're fascinating plants! Even when I was a vegetarian, they mesmerized me.

They'll have plenty of water from being at the receiving end of our HVAC condenser output. I have a japanese fern in that spot as well and it has flourished with the moisture.

Aww, thanks for the input and support! I'll keep you posted. I'm trying to convince myself I killed them with kindness, so I'm going to ignore these recent ones and see if they survive. 🤣

I'm in awe. I live in the only native area in the US for Venus Flytraps and have lost count of how many have met their demise under my care. I planted some (aling with sundews) by my trash can/air condenser output on the west side of my house last weekend and am crossing my fingers they survive.

This was the earlier protest in the northern part of Raleigh. There was a later one downtown. The boulevard was lined on both sides with protesters on the median as well. It was a fantastic turnout!

Raleigh, but I only stayed for the early protest in the northern part of the city. There was a later on downtown.

Let's not forget that he integrates empirically and has nearly infinite experience with mass.
