The rolling-layoffs thing is long running feature of the game industry. Back in the day it was essentially standard practice to lay off the majority of the team the instant a game was finished. People got sick of that and jumped ship to companies that planned better, so it mostly died out. Mostly.

I'd say that is one of the worst movies I've ever seen, but that would imply that I could see anything given the insanely dark lighting in EVERY SINGLE SCENE INCLUDING ONES SHOT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT

It's mind blowing dark, in a literal sense. Even the scenes that happen during broad daylight are mostly black on the screen. I couldn't tell what I was seeing for most of the movie!

But then what goes behind waterfalls? THINK OF THE WATERFALLS!

Shaving your head was a highlight of 2024 and you don't need to get a life threatening illness for me to do it next time
