More progress on Invasion Anarchy for the #amiga - I drew a single frame of an alien to test with, wrote the alien sequencer, score and text code. No collisions defined levels or sound yet; In this video I pulse the background where the sequencer should be playing a sound.

Finished writing the weapon systems for Invasion Anarchy on the #amiga. The new system is only limited by the number of hardware sprites I want to use and should give me a bit of flexibility in adding extra weapons to the game, something missing from the #c64 version.

With Invasion Anarchy finished and released, I have begun working on another game idea, starting with a control method for the player and a few work in progress sprites and animations. Gravity, speed and drag will all be tuned for playability as the game progresses. #commodore64 #gamedev #indiedev

I spent some time last night working on the title screen for Invasion Anarchy; I put some tiny little invaders moving around inside the logo. The next update of the music from Bop should have triggers on the beats so that they will move in sync with the music #Commodore64 #c64 #gamedev

Lots of work on Invasion Anarchy for the #commodore64 this weekend, we added an alien that splits into two little ones when hit, put in the new music,added upgrades every 300 points and made some fixes to collision detection. #gamedev #c64

The latest work on Invasion Anarchy for the #c64 involved adding the new music, increasing the players fire rate, adjustments to the laser collision detection, updated sfx and fading in the aliens at the top of the screen. #commodore64 #gamedev

I spent some time thinking about starting a Craptastic 4kb #c64 entry, but it would mean going inside and setting up a Commodore 64.

So I set up my ZX Spectrum Next and had a quick game of Aliens Neoplasma. Nice. I have started setting up a dev environment for it on my MacBook with similar features to my C64 environment (nothing special; VSCode, Aseprite, makefiles).

A ZX Spectrum Next was sitting at the front door today (sent with no tracking, which doesn't surprise me). It looks nice; I might even have time to open it one of these days.
