Thank you for this wonderful thread. How I longed for a bauble and red-gold hair! LA’s love of creatures (🐷 🐱 and of course, Gurgi) and gentle humor is unmatched. I still have his kind response to my gushing 6th grade fan mail in 1978, suggesting the Mabinogian for more insight into Welsh stories.
