week 2 - another week of progress! as previously mentioned i started using a Nurge hoop this past week - this is definitely my preferred way of stitching now. way less fiddly than Q snaps and easier to get my piece into than a regular tension embroidery hoop.

week 1 - experimenting with different ways to tension my aida. i got Q snaps for this project and quickly realized i hated them - unwieldy, awkward, and a constant readjusting of my fabric. i got nurge hoops delivered today and i'm hoping the experience will be more comfortable.
