We voted in PA then my hubs took Binx to FL with him in the airplane. Poor cat had a tough time 💩 the first part of the trip. He’s doing ok now. I’ll see them in a couple days 🚗

This was our guy’s shelter pic. His shelter name was Buddy and my husband still calls him that sometimes. He was a police pickup, according to his paperwork. I don’t know what he did, but it got him to a safe place. 😂

I thought a lot about it. Woody Guthrie music has been swirling in my mind for the past two weeks. I decorated. I made a patriotic junk journal I sent to my sister with a note. I still love my country. It’s a flawed one, but still. We have to keep trying.

So sad to read our alma mater, Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be closed in 2027. Back in the olddn days, a technical associate degree was valuable and that’s what we both pursued.
