I'm not sure I see the difference - accepting a fee to supply design services is taking something seriously enough I think.

I went to Neom's show at Venice a couple of years ago and an embarrassing amount of famous/blue chip architects certainly took it seriously enough.

Both I think (I'm assuming this one still has had opinions on gender, but maybe I'm in for a pleasant surprise).
