Really want this to end with teen learning you’re going to the same event! 😜

Either she got it wrong and could simply apologize or she knew and was blowing hard on that dog whistle.

In classic Bari fashion, she voluntarily claims the later and cries persecution for the well-earned flak she catches as a result. 🤦‍♀️

I’m sorry. She was your mother no matter her age.

That’s a lot of all the work to be done to take on. Can you voluntell some siblings/children to supporting roles?
December 31, 2025 at 4:21 AM
My motherhood story was that I was so old to be having my first (32). The nurse insisted I wasn’t old at all — but I couldn’t let go of my narrative when my world was 95% Mormon. My mom had me at 20, had 5.5 children by the time she was my age, and 3 of my younger siblings already had kids.

I hadn’t connected these deportations to the recent strikes and oil tanker interception— now realizing they were trying to “other” Venezuelans from day one and manufacture animosity as pretext for war/ theft of resources.

This is why it was a mistake to ignore/bury the election fraud even though trust in elections is also an irreplaceable commodity. That trust can be addressed with transparency and technology— international trust cannot.

This is a decades-long Russian interference story that no one is telling.

Do they think we like the uncanny valley-ness of AI? 🙃

I think there are more people hiding radicalization at the table than we realize. We all know the internet has been bad for civil discourse.

I wonder if the “silent majority” is no longer centrist, but quietly polarized (right and left), but hiding around family, etc. and it comes out like this.

Never not tired. I want to have hope that we’re on the verge of massive societal change for the better, but the present doesn’t reflect much hope back, so I’m afraid we will squander this tipping point b/c we’re too tired to be inspired. 😩

Ready and waiting for what leader? Who is calling them into action?

Always saying to myself— I just want to be a little hobbit in a cozy hobbit home.

Dude goes from [rhetorically] asking, “how much would it even cost to end hunger?” to personally clawing back aid that will result in 14M additional deaths during his lifetime. Villain story.

No one counts the brain fog and nervous system activation we have all been suffering for five years! 🫠

Mmmm, great suggestion!

My recent favorite new soup from TikTok is basically aromatics (onions + herbs), white beans and broth — puréed. Garnished with a few reserved beans and flakey cheese + sourdough toast. 🫠 so good. It tastes like it’s 1/3 part heavy cream — but just healthy beans!

Caught weird-handed!

How’s that system been working out for us, huh?

Just sent off a rage email to my senators on the list. 🤬

This will burn them worse than their success on abortion. Americans have moved on this issue and feel passionately about it.

I don’t want to see Oberg. reversed, but I am hopeful the response will be massive and brilliant. We need to start strategizing.

Listening to Tipping Point today, about infinite growth being unsustainable. Scientists get it and no one else wants to listen.

Holds don’t feel costly — they are not loans. They are literally a placeholder for a loan, the absence of a loan. 🤨
November 9, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Spiritual_AF posted on TT this week that her few experiences with hunger were worse and more traumatic than much of the abuse she endured.

Thankfully most Americans know nothing of hunger — but at the same time, they *know nothing of hunger*.

My 10yo said the same thing. He’s anxiously waiting for 6-7 to be over.

And they’ve basically been in recess since July!

Just because she aligns with you on a few policies, does not mean she aligns on principle.
