Just some guy. Capitalism is a failed experiment, and the USA is the world's most successful engine of genocide. May we live to witness the death of empires.
See you around Limsa Lominsa!

We're still missing part of the puzzle though

I think we might be on to something big here

The only thing I watch any more that's not on Dropout is Taskmaster. Those are the only streaming services I have left, just tucking a few $$$ into Sam Reich and Alex Horne's respective pockets every month. But I'm betting you're already very familiar, so that's probably not a useful recommendation.

Every so often I think about using traditional monsters from the MM.

But then I make another encounter where kobolds shout math problems while watching the party fight a giant psychic jellyfish & the answers let players know which tiles of the sewer arena are about to erupt plumes of scalding muck.

Is this a thing that you feel is likely to happen? I'll start rehearsing then.

Looks like a drawing in a medieval bestiary where some sailor's former crew mate told him about a friend of a cousin of a neighbor of a guy who once saw a giraffe from half a mile away, & and now he's continuing the game of telephone to a monk who's sketching it while they share a jug of strong ale.

This is the same reason that I mostly play 30 year old JRPGs that I've already cleared a dozen times (turn-based games don't punish me as much for wandering into the kitchen for half an hour) and re-watch TV shows that I've watched so often I can practically quote the whole series from memory.

Could be weeks, months, years, or never, but sometimes I will find a gap in my schedule that coincides with feeling like my attention span is Calibrated For Input, and then I forge ahead viewing/playing/reading that item with all haste because there's no telling how long the Good Brain will last.

For me as an ADHD-haver, if I know in advance that something is good (or at least a good fit for me), I feel a much greater obligation to pay it my undivided attention. But I have no conscious control whatsoever over my undivided attention. So I put it in a pile and wait for the stars to align.

Not the worst episode of DS9, that title is reserved for Profit and Lace. But definitely the least inspired. No character growth, no consequences, no plot developments. Arbitrary weirdness is introduced, persists for 40 minutes, and then departs without ever being mentioned again.

Fanfingers Stinkwaddle was always my least favorite Megaman boss as a kid.
