It's the slow and gradual ones that are the most dangerous. The slow blade penetrates the shield. A political coup, slow and steady, within the boundaries of reason, until suddenly overwhelming everywhere all at once.

I had read that too. When it's 'just' a psychological addiction one is just told to buck up, suck it up, it's not like it's heroin, you don't need help, just stop being a weak willed little wimp... I've heard it all

As a teenager the only thing I was able to find to help with insomnia was cannabis, but too many years of using that ended up making the problem far worse than it was in the first place and now I have to figure out a whole detox program

This has *always* been me.

I have not slept for longer than 4 hours at a time since I was (???) years old. My state of alertness has always been that of someone who mainlines black coffee in their sleep

Well, now it's localized to certain problem areas. It goes back and forth between pain I can point to locally and totally diffuse.

Up until a couple of weeks ago I had plans to fly out to visit my mom.

I am now driving instead.

From New Mexico to Florida.

I understand and it's all good. Compassion is really all that matters.

I appreciate you for saying so. Whose to say? We can have a philosophical discussion. People who have it horribly on paper can be the happiest people you'll meet and vice versa. Yeah it's rough out here but part of whats keeping me going is the belief that it isn't supposed to be any different. IDK.

So, just to be clear, we are loudly and proudly turning away potential future Democrat voters because of a past mistake the making of which they are now literally broadcasting their acknowledgement and regret.

We are so over.

And I truly don't know who is the bigger fool, the one who fell for trump or the one who expects that fool to see the error of his ways by being shamed and ridiculed.
