after a stellar jazz show the other night (s/o Cory Henry) where i was gasping at the pure skill and holding my breath more than once, I left asking myself what games made me feel the same and why? im still thinking so if i have an answer ill put it here

got a chance to play this last night, had a blast! really cool ideas at play all wrapped up in a very palpable dread right from the start. play this!!
game dev log: today i spent the ~hour i would have used to clean up the project scanning documents and making a mini in heroforge for dnd. i will now be playing vintage story. no questions at this time.
