Europeans are just a bit more casual about nudity than the US. I don't know if that is the same as our organized nudism. AANR, TNS et al. I wish we were more like Europe.

You said North America, which includes your own commonwealth. A lot of us see OZ and Kiwis and living in another century. When you throw stones, get ready to duck. The NRA used to have a lot of influence. Cooler heads are prevailing. We are not as militant as you seem to think. History is brutal.

Not quite that bad. Then we have Westerns that romanticize the gun to a certain point. You might want to read our Constitution good reading. The Bll of Rights gives us just that. The 2nd gives us the right to bear arms. This includes collectors and sportsmen.

We have this love of guns given our history. Taming a new continent at the muzzle of a gun. It is also the Constitution and the 2nd amendment that has been misinterpreted, as far as I am concerned. It will take many generations to get over the love of guns. Romance is very, very strong.
