Sorry to hear that. Some people are more sensitive to the “inactive” ingredients than others. The other lady on this thread can't take her med in generic because its not effective as the brand name. I'm betting you may have trouble with different on-brand ones too. That's got to suck.

Actually it is. I've done both and they've been equally effective. To each her own. If you like paying Eli Lilly $1,000s/year instead, have at it.

This is lypholized powder you reconstitute yourself. Most have published purity tests, some group buys do their own testing to ensure no impurities. I've never seen a compounding pharmacy show testing of their products.
