He's had a long time best friend and (work)partner named Mikan (nickname Mikki). They haven't seen each other since Exiel went missing. Meeting SH reminded Exiel of her. They're pretty similar, but Mikki is more deadpan and less chipper than SH.

Both are insane horndogs, although Exiel had a lot of trauma to work through before he could be intimate with Halsin. They both used to never stay in one place, but later were ready to start settling down and enjoy the quiet life. They both adore children (and get some of their own).
